Do you ever have those days where you think it's a day different than it is? Like it's a Monday and you think it's a Tuesday?  I usually have that happen with Thursday and Friday, thinking Thursday is Friday. So did anyone have any bloopers with the time change this past weekend?  You know they made daylight savings time on the weekend because so many people would be late (or early, depending on Spring or Fall) if it was a weekday.  I'm not a fan of losing an hour of sleep, but I do like having more light left in the day when I get off work.  My husband actually works on the weekends, and he set his clock ahead before going to sleep on Saturday night not knowing that his clock had an auto-adjust for DST, and his alarm went off at 4a instead of 5a.  That makes losing an hour even worse!

What to Wear When it's Summer Weather in the Winter

Happy Washington's Birthday,  National Margarita Day and Full Moon!  Who knew February 22 was such a party day? LOL  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Ours was busy but good. Quality time with loved ones always makes the days good, regardless of the activities.  For some reason my son woke up at 5:45a on Saturday morning (then slept in until 6:45 today, go figure) so my weekend started early.  We got out of the house early to get the car washed (our car came with free car washes for life when we bought it a little over a year ago) only to find out that the dealer has cancelled that perk due to the California drought.

While I was hoping we'd have a bit more rain this spring, I don't think it's worth doing any more planning on that happening.  So, moving on and embracing the wonderful SoCal weather we're having is making me want to summerize my shoe collection (that's my new word: summer-ize, like it? :) )  And that means sandals.

Happy Friday - I hope you have something fun/memorable/adventurous planned for the weekend.  They are predicting that beautiful, 70+ degree, sunny weather that makes all the east coasters who are freezing right now want to pick up and move west.  I plan to get out with the little dude and enjoy it (and him) as much as possible.

The shifting weather (though I hope we still have more rain to come, we need it. April showers, right?) has me thinking about updating my wardrobe.
