Friday Favorites - Easter Dresses under $100

Easter is a little over a week away, and while the point of the holiday is obviously to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus, I have to admit I always look forward to getting a new Easter dress. I remember as a kid it was a fun day when Mom would say we were going Easter dress shopping. And how excited I would be to wake up on Easter morning and put on my pretty new dress that had been hanging in my closet untouched awaiting this day (after scoping out what the Easter bunny left us in our baskets, of course. ;) ) Easter dresses to me are floral and colorful and something you feel feminine and pretty in.

Wednesday Wishlist - Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

They really get us, don't they? The great sales all November and December, and we finally get through Christmas and are relieved we are done shopping - but then oh no! The Nordstrom sale is in effect! Crap - I mean Yay! - I mean crap. No, yay, really it's yay. ;) I may or may not have gotten some Nordy's gift cards for Christmas that need to be spent...here's some items I'm eyeing....

What to Wear for New Years Eve - Sequins!

Whenever I think of sequins, I think of New Years Eve. Which is funny, because I think I've only worn sequins on NYE once in the past, but I always love them for the occasion. We don't currently have any exciting plans for the evening (it gets harder with a 2 year old), but I'm still keeping my eye out for some good pieces in case we decide on a sparkly evening. Or maybe I'll just wear sparkles at home and be my own party! ;)

When I give gifts, I always strive for the item given to be practical but a little luxury for them. Something they may not think to buy themselves but it would be really nice to have, or something stylish they maybe didn't know about yet, but is useful and not just going to add to the "stuff" they already have. And I always think: is this a gift I would like getting myself?

A good pair of earphones/earbuds I think is such a gift.
