New Years Eve - Holiday Party Style Guide
/So we've made it through one weekend of holiday festivities, one more to go! Hope you all had a very merry Christmas (if you celebrate it. Otherwise, a very merry long weekend. ;) ) We made a lot of stops, from Christmas Eve through Sunday, but it was a great time seeing family and friends and making new memories.
We are still undecided as to our New Years plans. We're trying to figure out what we can do with the child care options we have, and also that my husband's birthday is New Years day. One thing is for certain, we love to get dressed up. Not sure what I love more: a new dress for myself, or seeing my husband in a suit! ;)
Here's a him and her look that we would wear for a nice dinner and then on to a party for NYE. Festivities always start and run through the night (obviously) so I always need a coat with my dress for the cold night air, and it can be removed once arrived for a party look. The dress is bright, bold, fun color (similar here) which I've paired with a gold bag and accessories for some shimmer. Hubby's suit is a classic black (similar here) but to keep it a bit more casual he swapped out plain white shirt for a chambray-type fabric, and no tie.

They have more than just tuxedos, they have some very sharp looking suits as well, so your guy will be able to find the right look for the occasion.
